Why do I need a hair & makeup trial?
A wedding hair & makeup trial is recommended as this is a chance to meet me and check if we get along. We can also discuss what look might work best with your skin type, hair type, personal style and wedding theme. The trial is a chance to try a few different looks too, as you may not end up liking what you had imagined going for.
Do I need to bring anything to the trial?
I always ask you to bring any pictures of the styles you would like, veils & hair accessories and a picture of your usual makeup style. Wear a white/cream coloured top and wash your hair the night before your trial.
When should I have my trial?
I recommend booking in a trial 6-8 weeks before the wedding date.
How long should I allow for my trial?
On average, I recommend 2-3 hours. Daylight is best to create the look as how it would be on the wedding morning.
How long do you need on the wedding morning?
This differs depending on the person, due to hair types and the makeup style. On average I allow 1.5 hours for the brides hair & makeup, and 1 hour for bridesmaids hair & makeup.
How many people can you manage on your own?
Hair is more time consuming. If all the booking is hair and makeup, I would be able to manage a maximum of 3 people. Any more will need an assistant, which will have a fee added. This will be given to you at the time of booking.
Where do you travel?
I travel to Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire. Distances above 20 imles are charged at 45p per mile. This will be listed on your quote at time of booking. Journeys over 2 hours incur an overnight cost.
