I just got some more photos back from last years weddings and I couldn’t pick which one to share on my website of Kasia’s vegan hair and makeup look, so a blog post it is!
Kasia got ready at home with her two bridesmaids . I did hair and makeup for Kasia and hair for the bridesmaids, and I think it was probably the most chilled, laid back wedding morning I’d every had. Kasia was super calm and we were easily ready on time.
Kerrang was playing on the TV and there was some nice, fun chit chat between the bridal party. I felt quite out of touch with current music, even though it was rock! Didn’t know most of the songs playing - give me 00’s emo any day please haha.

The makeup look

Kasia doesn’t wear much makeup so we kept it looking soft and natural. She asked for grey tones and smoky eyes. I used the Urban Decay Naked 2 mini palette to create a cool toned smoke, and added more definition using Charlotte Tilbury Rock n Kohl Bedroom Black pencil.
Skin was kept very natural using my favourite Illamasqua Skin Base foundation and Danessa Myricks Luxe Cream Palette.

The hairstyle

My signature look - a relaxed half updo with beachy waves and braids. Another hairstylist commented on how quick I am at half updos - after 9 years of doing them I’ve mastered it! I love Kasia's blue and this hairstyle was good to show off the colour.
